Lilli&Tom: City Style

This installation is called Lilli&Tom: City Style. It is in the product window at Craft Queensland on Brunswick Street in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Australia. Lilli&Tom love to buy and wear objects of quality and beauty. This window showcases other Brisbane designers' work as well as Lilli&Tom themselves. Collaboration takes us to new places.

Inside the Window

Lilli&Tom's first installation window. After a restorative coffee Lilli and Tom were given their designer jewellery [by Liana Kabel (Lilli) and Rebecca Ward (Tom)] and positioned on their designer bent ply chairs [Heath Pakeman] in the Brunswick Street window of Craft Queensland, Fortitude Valley, in the heart of the Brisbane Arts precinct. So pampered!! They will watch the passing parade for two weeks until September 28th. I missed them when I got home.

Tom's birthday is September 13th. He was real cool on his way the Valley, Tom slouched in the back of my EH Holden like he wasn't born yesterday! I'm sure the slightly preplexed look that came over him at times was because the radio only plays middle of the road [MoR] music (so not his scene).

Lilli's Birthday is September 1st, I'm not sure what she likes yet but I'm sure we'll find out. On her way to her first installation she was a bit nervous, a bit chatty, but we didn't mind.

Lilli&Tom's First Outing

Here are Lilli and Tom on their first outing. It's Wednesday morning of the 14th of September 2005. The early morning weather was overcast and a bit cool. As I looked at the closed door of the house I thought about grabbing an umbrella. Driving away, we all agreed it wasn't likely to rain. Lilli and Tom didn't seem to appreciate my concern.
